⚔️ How It Plays
Commander: Arcades, the Strategist
With Arcades on the battlefield, each creature with defender entering under your control draws you a card. Arcades also lets your defenders attack and assign combat damage equal to their toughness rather than their power. Their actual power remains unchanged.
Deploy inexpensive Walls and other defenders to build your board while keeping your hand supplied. Overgrown Battlement produces green mana for each defender you control, helping you develop more creatures and supporting spells.
Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa helps attackers with power 2 or less get past blockers without flying or reach. Those low-power defenders can still deliver substantial combat damage through Arcades. Protect your commander, choose your openings, and turn a board of sturdy defenders into a coordinated offensive.
