⚔️ How It Plays
Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves
Start with inexpensive mana Elves such as Llanowar Elves and Elvish Mystic, then grow your resources with Elvish Archdruid and Priest of Titania. Beast Whisperer helps replenish your hand as you cast creatures, keeping your Elf plan moving.
Lathril turns successful combat into a larger army, creating a 1/1 green Elf Warrior token for each point of combat damage she deals to a player. Token multipliers such as Parallel Lives can expand that army further, while Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Craterhoof Behemoth provide powerful combat boosts.
For another finishing route, tap Lathril and ten other untapped Elves you control. Each opponent loses 10 life, and you gain 10 life total. The ten supporting Elves can include newly created tokens, provided Lathril herself can use her tap ability. Seedborn Muse untaps your permanents during other players’ untap steps, opening more opportunities to activate Lathril. Keep Heroic Intervention ready to help protect your army.
