⚔️ How It Plays
Commander: The Ur-Dragon
Build your mana with Birds of Paradise, Bloom Tender, and Sol Ring. While The Ur-Dragon is in the command zone or on the battlefield, Eminence reduces the generic cost of your other Dragon spells by one, helping your biggest threats arrive sooner.
Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm creates token copies of other nontoken Dragons entering under your control. Dragon Tempest gives your arriving flyers haste and rewards Dragon arrivals with damage, while Old Gnawbone turns combat damage to players into Treasure to fuel your next play.
With The Ur-Dragon on the battlefield, declaring your Dragons as attackers triggers its powerful payoff: draw a card for each Dragon that attacked, then optionally put one permanent card from your hand directly onto the battlefield. Grow your army, replenish your hand, and keep protection such as Teferi’s Protection ready for a crucial moment.
