🥷 How It Plays
Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger’s Shadow
Open with evasive creatures such as Changeling Outcast or Faerie Seer, then use commander ninjutsu to exchange an unblocked attacker for Yuriko. She enters tapped and attacking from your hand or the command zone, and activating this ability does not require commander tax.
While Yuriko is on the battlefield, each Ninja you control that deals combat damage to a player triggers her ability separately. Reveal your library’s top card, put it into your hand, and each opponent loses life equal to its mana value.
Faerie Seer, Scroll Rack, and Sensei’s Divining Top help prepare future reveals, while Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship provide interaction. Cards with high mana values, such as Temporal Trespass, can produce larger life-loss effects when revealed, rewarding careful planning around combat and your library.
